The Taiwanese Students’ Association (TSA) comprises of four TSAs at the University of Sydney (USYD), University of New South Wales (UNSW), University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Macquarie University (MQ). Founded in 2000, TSA is a non-profitable organisation whose success is dependent upon the support of various people and organisations who are interested in expanding Taiwanese culture within Australia. Across all universities, there are more than 1600 ongoing members contributing towards TSA.
TSA organises both formal and informal events and activities to bring the Taiwanese students closer together, and make university life a more rewarding and memorable experience than just academics and studying. TSA also hopes to use its cultural ties to the Taiwanese community to share with the rest of Sydney what makes Taiwanese people and unique culture.
TSA is not limited to Taiwanese people only. If you are interested in any aspects of Taiwan, whether it be tourism, music, cuisine, or just hoping to meet new friends, then don’t hesitate and JOIN US!
